Quality Standards

Gdynia Maritime University has developed and implemented a quality management system to better satisfy the needs and expectations of its present and prospective clients and improve the management of the University through the continual improvement of the system.

The establishment and implementation of the quality management system also show compliance with statutory requirements, as well as legal rules and regulations.

The modern University maintains and improves its standards through structured systematic quality measurement and assessment of the degree of compliance with the adopted aims in relation to student development, the educational, professional and scientific development of University’s scholars, as well as the efficient management of its resources.

The University's management undertakes to be responsible for and actively involved in the development and improvement of the Quality Management System as outlined in the adopted quality policy.

The quality management system complies with the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard requirements and applies to the full scope of activity of Gdynia Maritime University, namely:

Compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard is confirmed by a certificate issued by the Certification Office of the Polish Register of Shipping [Biuro Certyfikacji Polskiego Rejestru Statków S.A.].
